Information you provide
If you create an account, SailSift stores your email address, a one-way password hash, and any optional profile information you submit. SailSift does not store your plain-text password. Saved searches and cruise-line loyalty selections are associated with your account so they can be restored later.
Product and analytics data
SailSift may measure page visits, device and browser information, feature usage, search interactions, errors, and performance. This information helps us understand whether the site works and which features are useful.
How information is used
Information is used to operate and secure the service, authenticate accounts, restore saved preferences, improve product quality, diagnose failures, and communicate service messages a user requests.
Choices
Searching does not require an account. Browser controls can limit cookies and local storage, although doing so may prevent sign-in and saved preferences from working correctly.
Service providers and external links
SailSift may use hosting, analytics, performance-monitoring, and infrastructure providers to operate the service. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. Links to cruise lines, Amazon, and other third parties take you to services that SailSift does not control.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. SailSift uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. SailSift may need to verify a request before completing it.
