Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using SailSift, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction.
What SailSift provides
SailSift is an independent cruise discovery, comparison, and price-tracking service. We organize fare observations and cruise information to help you research options. Unless we explicitly say otherwise, SailSift is not a cruise line, travel agency, booking provider, insurer, or party to a travel contract.
Prices, availability, and deal signals
Displayed fares, taxes, fees, service-charge estimates, availability, itineraries, ship details, and historical comparisons may be incomplete, delayed, changed, or withdrawn without notice. A “deal,” “price drop,” or similar label is a data-based comparison—not a guarantee of savings, availability, or the lowest market price.
You are responsible for confirming the final price, currency, cabin, occupancy, cancellation rules, documentation, health requirements, and all booking terms directly with the cruise line or booking provider before purchasing.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for accurate account information and for activity under your credentials. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it at a volume that impairs service, reverse engineer protected components, upload malicious code, or use SailSift unlawfully.
Third-party services and links
SailSift may link to cruise lines, retailers, mapping providers, and other third parties. Their products, content, availability, pricing, accessibility, privacy practices, and terms are controlled by them. A link or product mention is not an endorsement or warranty. Some links may be affiliate links; when they are, SailSift may earn a commission without changing your price.
Travel responsibility
Travel involves risks and requirements that vary by destination and traveler. You are responsible for passports, visas, insurance, health advice, accessibility arrangements, safety decisions, and compliance with carrier and government rules. Site content is general information and is not legal, medical, financial, or travel-agent advice.
Intellectual property
SailSift's software, design, branding, and original content are owned by SailSift or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may use the service for personal, noncommercial research. These terms do not grant a right to copy, republish, sell, or create derivative services from protected material.
Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service and may limit or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse prevention, or service operation. You may stop using SailSift at any time.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SailSift is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. SailSift and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, travel disruption, or decisions made using the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid SailSift in the preceding 12 months or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify SailSift and its operators from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
